Rotary – Children of Heroes
“Children of Heroes” is a project dedicated to supporting Ukrainian children who have lost one or both parents as a result of the war.
Our mission is to bring them care, joy, and unforgettable experiences that help them feel safe, loved, and full of hope.
What We Do:
We organize “Happy Days” — special events where children can play with entertainers, visit a petting zoo, jump on trampolines, receive psychological support through games, enjoy a delicious lunch, and, of course, get gifts.
We also arrange recreation camps in Zakarpattia and rehabilitation trips abroad — to Poland (Zakopane), Austria, and France.
Our Achievements:
• More than 350 children have already taken part in the project (as of August 1, 2025).
• Dozens of “Happy Day” programs have been successfully held.
• Groups of children have enjoyed rest and rehabilitation both in Ukraine and abroad.
This project brings smiles, friendship, and hope to children who need it most.
Every contribution — no matter how small — is a step toward a stronger community, a healthier society, and a future filled with hope.
