Club Anniversary – 28 Years!

On June 10, 1997, the Rotary Club *Dnipropetrovsk* was officially registered — and so began its remarkable history.

Back then, we were only taking our first Rotary steps. There were many trips to France, Poland, and Germany, where we met Rotarians, learned the principles of the Rotary movement, made friends, and launched our very first projects. These included initiatives for the Children’s Home for kids with cerebral palsy — renovating the dormitory building, purchasing beds and televisions; projects for community schools — building metalwork classrooms; and projects for universities — supplying books in French.

But the true strength of Rotary revealed itself with the start of the war. Countless trucks arrived carrying food, medicine, hospital equipment, fire trucks and ambulances, clothing, heaters, generators — the list is endless.
We could tell many stories about what has been achieved, but we will humbly remain silent… and simply share the links to our books, where we documented everything — every partner, every friend who stood and continues to stand with us.

We thank all Rotarians around the world who did not turn away from our hardship — Ukraine embraces you with all its heart!

Because Rotary is, above all, about friendship!!!
