Friends from Denmark with a new shipment of aid

At the beginning of June, our good friends and partners — representatives of Rotary Clubs from Denmark, “Viggo Nørtoft” and “Jens-Peter Mantorp” of *Give Rotary, District 1450* — visited Dnipro. They brought another shipment of humanitarian aid for Ukraine, once again confirming their sincere friendship, steadfast support, and the effective cooperation between our clubs during these challenging times for our country.

Over several days, the Danish Rotarians visited various locations in Dnipro, where they could personally witness how vital their assistance truly is. In conversations, they repeatedly emphasized how deeply impressed they were by the resilience and inner strength of the Ukrainian people.

Rotary Club “Dnipro City” warmly welcomed the guests, organizing a rich and meaningful program. During their visit, they:

  • visited several city clinics treating servicemen and civilians affected by the war;
  • spent time at a rehabilitation center specializing in medical and psychological support for Ukrainian defenders;
  • met with military personnel, delivered essential supplies, and expressed heartfelt gratitude for their courage and dedication to Ukraine;
  • toured the ATO Museum, where they learned more about the modern struggle for Ukrainian independence.
  • A highlight of the visit was the meeting of Rotary Club “Dnipro City”, where the Danish guests had the opportunity to communicate with club members in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The gathering featured engaging discussion, open exchange of experience, ideas, and future plans. As a symbol of international Rotary unity and support, both sides exchanged club banners and commemorative gifts.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our Danish friends, volunteers, and Rotary partners for their continuous support, compassion, and readiness to help. Visits like these not only strengthen existing ties but also open new opportunities for international partnership, joint projects, and humanitarian initiatives.
